Privacy Policy

Overview

SubTrack is a subscription tracker available as a web app and a mobile app (together, the “Service”). This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we store the data you give us so the Service works, we never sell it, and we show no ads.

Data we collect

  • Google account profile. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We never see your Google password.
  • Subscription data you enter. Service names, prices, billing cycles, renewal dates, categories, trial dates, and similar details you add, edit, or import. SubTrack does not connect to your bank or payment providers — everything is entered by you.
  • Preferences. Settings such as currency, notification choices, and hidden categories.
  • Authentication tokens. A session cookie on the web, and a signed token stored in your device’s secure storage in the mobile app, used to keep you signed in.
  • Web analytics. The marketing website may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic. The mobile app contains no analytics or advertising SDKs.

How we use your data

  • To run the Service: showing your subscriptions on your calendar and stats.
  • To send renewal and trial reminder emails — only if you keep those notifications enabled in Settings.
  • To maintain and secure the Service.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for profiling.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway. Reminder emails are delivered through Resend. Sign-in is provided by Google. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your data until you delete it. You can wipe all of your subscription data at any time from Settings (“Reset all data”), export it as CSV first, and request full account deletion — see Delete your account.

Your rights

You can access and export your data (Settings → Export CSV), correct it in the app, or delete it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as under GDPR or CCPA) — contact us and we will honor them.

Children

SubTrack is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
